It is a gathering of men, a couple of times a month, to get a grasp on the storyline and theology of Bible. In 2009, we will be spending the next year reading, thinking, and exploring the "Big Picture" of the bible. Check out how to "get in the game."
Get the Tools:
We will be using two things this year to trace the Bible's 
storyline. Both are required. First, you need a good Bible. It will be the primary resource this year. There are several great translations available. My favorite is the ESV. I would encourage you NOT to read in a study Bible. They are great resources for study, but often produce "rabbit trails" while reading. In addition, below are some resources that can take you wider and deeper in the exploration of this subject. These are not required but can help guide your journey. Check them out!
Get a Plan:
We are going to read through the whole bible this year, together. There are a lot of great plans out there. (check out this post for a few). But because of our study I want to encourage you to read "chronologically". This is an attempt to put the story together in the order it happened. Here is a great plan. You can print it out and carry it with you. You can have it delivered to your mobile device. You can put it in your RSS reader. You can even have it read to you. JUST DO IT!
Come and Wrestle:
We are going to meet a couple times a month together to wrestle though these ideas. Join us for breakfast, prayer, and teaching. It will be time of interaction and relationship. We meet at Hope on the 4th Saturday of each month. Next meeting - Feb 28th!

Don't let this journey be done alone. One of the reason for us to target men is God calls you to lead your family but we want to help you. Check out some the resources below that can help you pass to your family what you are learning. We will talk about them more when we get together.
