"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."
Matthew 5:9
Peace seems to be very elusive. Whether it is at home, at work, in our families, in our communities, or in our nation. Conflict just seems to pop up. In the coming weeks at Hope Church, we want to search out what God says about not only finding peace but becoming a person who promotes peace, true peace.
Beginning September 7th, We will be exploring what Bible has to say about what it means to have peace with God, peace in families, and peace in our community. Join Us on Route 5:9.

Here are some of the different "on-ramps" to Route 5:9:
10:30 - Sunday Morning Worship - During the teaching time we explore passages of the Bible that help us understand peacemaking. The topics include, "Being a Racial Peacemaker", "Gospel Peace", "Being at Peace with each other". To kick-off our series we will hear from Dr. Alvin Sanders, director of reconciliation for the EFCA.
Small Groups - They will meet throughout the week for study, discussion, and prayer about Biblical peacemaking. These groups will help us not only know but seek to implement what we are learning. Check out the small group info or contact the office for groups.
9:30 - Sunday School - For those unable to be in a small group a similar study will be held during the Sunday School hour.
Youth
Small Groups - They will be meeting during the week to discuss how they can apply the principles of peacemaking in their lives. Contact us for meeting times and places.
9:30 - Sunday Morning - Our children's Sunday school will help our kids begin to see the need to have peacemaking relationships that effect their families, schools, and neighborhoods.
