Hope Church

Churches can do a lot of different things. But the simple question for us is, "what did God call the church to do in this world?"

Jesus simply stated it this way.
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:19-20

What does that look like for us?
We think the church is simply about three things.

Reaching UP

Reaching UP

Everyone is a worshipper. But the question is what will you worship? God calls us to worship Him the creator, sustainer, king of the universe.

 Reaching IN Reaching IN

The church is not a building but a community of people. God calls us to live with, around, and for each other in a way that helps us walk like Christ. To do that we need to know and understand His word and work to apply that to our lives.

Reaching OUTReaching OUT

There is a lost and dying world that exists beyond the walls of the church. God calls us to communicate the message of the gospel to them. The gospel is a message so it must be communicated in the words that we say. But those words must be accompained by actions so that people not only hear but see the love of God.
